It gave me a great insight into the complexity of paediatrics and I leaned a huge amount.

FE
University of Glasgow

The event was well run, although there were big differences in the quality of the lectures. Also, when thelast few lectures finished ahead of schedule, there was a long wait for the workshops to begin whichwasn't great.

VH
University of Glasgow

The event was very well organised. The talks were very interesting and useful and the speakers were allvery knowledgeable about their subjects. I felt that the timing allowed for the workshops was not quiteright. The "Examining a newborn infant" workshop could have done with an extra 10 minutes or so,whereas the Neonatal CPR workshop did not require as much time. There were enough coffee breaks, and the food and drinks provided were excellent. Overall, I had a very enjoyable day!

Very beneficial, I am very keen to specialise in paediatrics and the CV building was extremely beneficialand not something you commonly have the opportunity to do. Both the gender identity and the asylumseeker lectures were very insightful and relevant to current society. The day ran smoothly and the timewas filled well.

Really enjoyed the event as an opportunity to meet like-minded students and the inclusion of poster presentations. Well organised with food etc and easy to get to on public transport (I wasn't familiar with the area and had come from quite far afield). Reminded me why I was so passionate about a career in paediatrics.

Mr Thomas Cox
The Hull York Medical School

Felt the weekend appeared to run smoothly without any issues. Some lectures were extremely interesting in the context of future careers, some of the lectures felt more like one which we would have had about science as part of our university degree. I think it is most useful to provide lectures that will not likely be experienced at our own medical school.
